Works as advertised.It was a direct replacementI thought my Mr Heater was done for when the thermocouple wire broke. This was so easy to install and was able to fix my problem in minutes.We love to be outdoors and we use our Mr. Heater ALOT during the cold months. So, when it got to the point where it would not stay lit, that was a problem! After finding a "how to" on YouTube (yay for YouTube, right people?) I was able to locate this assembly and it was perfect! Everything needed was included. Installation instructions are on YouTube, not included in with the assembly, but, it was easy! Thank you!I have a double sunflower heater, and only used one. Once that one quit I used the 2nd one. Eventually that one also quit. When I say "quit working" I mean that once lit, it would not stay on, no matter how long you hold down the button. What this part does, is creat a small bit of voltage, which tells the unit to stay lit. It's a safety feature, and without it, the unit will empty out gasses even without ignition. So, long story short, if it doesn't stay lit, put this thermalcouple on so you don't have to buy an entirely new setup. It's very easy to do.This was easy to install & worked as advertised.If your original goes out...buy these. I had 1 problem... I ordered 2 and received 1 fast then it took 2.5 weeks to get the second one, and wasn't sure if I was going to get that one! My heater is the double head and I needed both for it to work. Now that I installed both I'm back to being warm again :).I can't believe that something works at the first moment.I have a double tanktop sunflower heater I picked up at Princess auto a couple of years back, one of the two heaters simply would not stay lit. I did a little research and decided this might be the issue, I searched and came across this item, it is made for the Mr Heater brand but it certainly looked the same so for the price I thought I would take a chance. The install is pretty easy and it worked well, the only issue I had was the female spade connector on the thermocoupler was too small to fit on the heater, I simply cut it and replaced it with the next larger size and everything was fine.My kids had accidentally knocked over our propane heater and broken the thermocouple wire. I searched all over town, and no one carried replacements. I was so happy to find this product on Amazon, and even more happy when it arrived and was super easy to install. I had to adjust the yellow ground wire connection a little when installing in order for it to properly allow the gas valve to stay open when heating, but that was more my issue than it was the product. All in all, I'm very happy.Extremely fast shipping and it fixed my issue with my Mr. Heater MH15T. Would have given it 5 stars except I had to replace one of the spade connectors because it was too small to connect to my heater. A minor annoyance, and one that I was capable of fixing, but would have been nice if it fit properly to begin with. Don't like to have to start snipping and re-connecting on a brand new part.The description of the item is misleading. It states it comes with the tip over switch but it is missing the word connection after top over switch. It only comes withe the wire to connect to the switch. NOT the actual tip over switch.Used it to replace the burnt-out one on my tank-top mounted heater. It was exactly the one I needed. It works great. Thank you.
