I was very pleasantly surprised by how powerful this little space heater is for its compact size. I truly love everything about it.Our home was built in the 1940's and not well insulated despite our good efforts. When the central thermostat is set at 76°F, the bedroom (which has bay windows) will be around 65°F. This mini space heater was the answer to my prayers! It will heat our entire bedroom several degrees in the span of 15 - 20 minutes. At that point I can turn off the heater if I want and the room stays comfortable all night!One of the bonus features is the visual display that makes it look like a little fire place. You can turn on the light feature to see what looks like flames emanating from hot coals and run it for ambiance without even running the heater function. Although you do need the ambient light on to actually run the heater on high or low.I would like to note that the first unit I received had a minor ding in the outside packaging but the inner box seemed ok. After the 2nd day of use the ambient lighting began to make a buzzing sound that was too distracting for me to sleep so I checked the manual for trouble shooting. There was nothing describing the issue so I reached out to see if there was an adjustment I could make. I received a response in less than 24 hours and the unit was replaced within 48 hrs!I've run the new unit now for a week and it's perfect! The ambient lighting doesn't buzz at all and the amount of heat it kicks out is amazing.The heater portion does have a fan on both high and low settings. It's about the same volume as any fan, be it for cooling or an air purifier, etc. Not silent but not so noisy you can't sleep with it.I've been checking our electrical use and running the heater on high seems to cost around 20 cents per hour give or take a little. I don't have an exact cost because electricity rates vary and there are always other items using electricity at the same time. For the amount of heat it kicks out, it is very energy efficient!And it's so simple to use. Basically just plug and go! It isn't at all heavy or awkward and can be easily moved from room to room and small enough to put on a TV tray or desk but powerful enough to heat a good sized room in a short amount of time and keep it warm.My only complaint is that my cats love it as much as I do and I have to move them out of my space in front of it!Overall ratings:Quality of Product - 5☆Heat - 5☆Efficiency - 5☆Ease of Use - 5☆Size - 5☆Appearance - 5☆Customer Service - 5☆Cost - 5☆If there was such thing as a silent fan, I might take a star off for sound (cuz I'm overly sensitive), but it's honestly no louder than any other fan so I'd have to give it 5☆ for that too.I absolutely love this little space heater. It's like having a portable mini electric fireplace you can take with you and use anywhere there's a grounded outlet. You definitely get your money's worth.
