I was looking to augment the assigned text for a state space controls system course. I purchased multiple books to help me. This text was by far the best; it followed the professor's instruction closer than any other text. A few themed examples and exercises are expanded as you progress through the book including the use of MATLAB.I had no experience with MATLAB prior to taking this class. This book started with a premise of little to no prior knowledge of MATLAB. It was instrumental in my use of MATLAB with course assignments including content and presentation.The preface explains the book very well. Thanks to the authors for producing this excellent book.
