The WHF heater offers extreme value by combining the rapid heat transfer of a NiChrome element with the performance of a squirrel cage blower. This makes for a relatively quiet heater without the added cost of a high mass element like the Pic-A-Watt. It is commonly used as the first upgrade in apartment construction and is an excellent choice for bathrooms because of the instant heat from the wire element.

I had some of these wear out after 25 years, got the model/serial numbers off the old unit. This is an exact fit! Didn't even have to re-install the box. Unscrewed the old one, the new one had the same connection points and wiring--had them replaced and the new grills on in less than 30 minutes. Quiet and good heat output. Perfect solution for in-wall heater and fantastic that it was a plug n' play replacement for a 25 year old unit!
