Works well, it’s infrared so it puts out some light.I ordered 2 of these less than 2 months ago for use keeping my reptile enclosures warm. One of them is still working fine while the other one (which is only about 4 feet away from the one that still works) is defective and has burnt out already. Seller was quick to respond on the issue and willing to send out a replacement of the defective bulb. Would recommend!My bearded dragon highly appreciates this lamp. It was a great price, it works well, and the bearded dragon spends alot of time under it. Great purchase.I got this to suppliment my savannah monitors heat and was surprised to see that at 12" it only got it up to 95f. Ive had it in 24/7 and it seems to be holding strong. Just wish there was a hotter option. They don't give nearly the heat that a comparable watt halogen does.The heat didn't really spread far like the box said, and the bulb blew today. I got it on the 5th so I'm not sure how long this was supposed to last but if I pay almost $30 for it I kinda expect for it to not blow out two weeks later. I didn't even leave it on 24/7.The bulb arrived in good condition. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to heat my bearded dragons enclosure as well as others i’ve used.First thing I noticed when plugged in was the burning smell. It was so strong I only had the bulb on while I was home to keep an eye on it, til the smell dissipated after a few days. It heated our 75 gallon tank to an average of 88 degrees. Then after just 5 weeks, it stopped working. Disappointing.Nothing
