I was really confused when I got this product. It lights up two bulbs and that's it. They are semi warm, felt like getting close to a warm lamp. Sadly it seemed my ignorance was in the hearing config. Since it's infrared pointing down, it's sorta vulnerable to wind. The ground will reflect the heat and it will be blown away. So the area I was using it was open and within a pretty consistent wind path. Make sure it's enclosed from wind.We purchased 2 for our screened porch. They were built well, solid quality and gave great heat output if you were under them. Customer service was very helpful and responsive. You’ll need to have 10gauge extension cords if you’re not plugging it directly into a wall socket. Never leave them unattended.
