I had a 55,000 BTU heater almost like this (of course this one is bigger), but this heater is quiet, and very effective. I'm temporarily living in a crappy trailer that had hardly no insulation and is cold. This force heater works great and the thermostat keeps it about the same temperature. the kerosene I am burning.. burns clean and quiet... I love it. I am giving it a 4 star because the description of the size is not accurate and the fuel capacity... it only hold 5 gallons instead of 6
