I am not a fan of velvet and when I ordered I was not paying attention to the description or the size as it was also to big for me. Other then that I actually did like the costume and if I had time I would have paid to have it taken in. I think I ordered a 2X, I am an XL but can never seem to get online sizes correct from companies I am not familiar with and usually go bigger. The costume was great I just needed to pay attention more to the details and take my time.This dress should not be marketed as a "Princess Leia" dress. Both dresses are white, but the similarities end there. The sash doesn't even try to resemble Leia's belt and is sewn on way too high. The dress also sheds like mad and covers everything it touches with little white fibers. I'm glad this company makes plus-sized costumes, but they need to do a better job making them look even reasonably similar.Belt is way too high and the material is funky. Wish I would have bought a different one.Wish I read the reviews. What a disappointment. I ordered this dress and look nothing like Princess Leia!It's very sheer. I have to wear a lot under it to hide my under garments.
